DIN rails in steel and aluminum, compliant with European standards, are used to install modular and non-modular electrical devices inside electrical panels.
There are two main types of guide profiles available:
Symmetrical, also known as the “Ω” shape, made of steel and available in three different sizes.
Asymmetrical, also referred to as the “G” type, also made of steel.
An additional type is the “C” profile in steel, 30 x 15 mm, ideal for creating internal structures within the electrical panel or for supporting components and wiring systems.
A non-perforated symmetrical aluminum profile, 35 x 15 mm, is also available, suitable for various installation needs.
Tools
A specific tool is available for working with DIN rails, designed for cutting and punching. It is easy to use and ensures precise, burr-free cuts without material waste. It includes a guide for making perfectly perpendicular (90°) cuts and a ruler for repeating cuts of the same length up to 1000 mm.
Supports and accessories
A wide range of clips and brackets allows for easy mounting of devices that are not compatible with direct DIN rail fastening, as well as for anchoring or spacing the rails themselves within the electrical panel.
