Barrel- and post-type insulators, used as insulating supports for live conductors, provide excellent electrical insulation. They can also be used as supports for electrical equipment, offering high mechanical strength, or as spacers and/or stiffening elements in systems made of conductive bars (copper or aluminum).

The variety of heights, widths, and threaded insert sizes allows selecting the most suitable product for each specific installation.

The TEKNOMEGA range offers two types of products, both with high electrical insulation and mechanical strength, but manufactured using different materials and production processes:

• Ω COMPRHEX: Red INSULATORS and POSTS
  Made of glass fiber-reinforced polyester, produced via compression molding.
• Ω ISO: Black INSULATORS and POSTS
  Made of glass fiber-reinforced polyamide, produced via injection molding.

Both TEKNOMEGA insulator ranges have undergone rigorous tests to verify their mechanical and electrical resistance.
