Switching components made with semiconductor technology ensure a very high level of reliability and an extremely long operating life.

Compared to traditional electromechanical relays, these solid-state devices offer two main advantages: robustness in operation and virtually unlimited lifespan.

Solid-state relays, despite their different types, all operate on the same fundamental principle: an LED in the input circuit activates an optoelectronic component through an optical link (which ensures electrical isolation), which in turn controls a semiconductor to manage the output power.

In solid-state relays (SSRs), the semiconductor used for output control is generally a triac.

  • AQ-H Relay: Compact DIP type for AC load control
    ≤1.2A RMS currents in the active state; handles loads from 100 to 200 Vrms; high dielectric strength 5000Vrms.
  • AQ-J Relay: 1 Form A hockey disc
    AC switching capacity ≤25 A (zero cross); integrated varistor for excellent surge absorption.
  • AQ-A Relay: 10A to 40A AC or DC
    For AC or DC loads; integrated varistor for excellent surge absorption; LED indicator for status check; compact, high capacity, with screw terminals.
  • AQ-G Relay: Slim; 1A and 2A control
    Vertical type only 4.5mm thick; integrated snubber circuit; zero-cross and random switching methods available; high dielectric strength 3000V.

    Available in vertical version with SIL terminal arrangement and low profile; an integrated snubber circuit prevents malfunctions due to noise.
